THE EVENT WILL BE HELD AT THE SOFITEL WANDA

China’s renewable energy industry is reshaping the gloabal renewables markets, and policy plans aim to maintain this growth throughout turbulent economic times.

China's recent expansion of targets for wind power installed capacity by 2010 and its declaration of expansive stimulus packages to maintain the growth of the renewable energy industry seem to have strengthened international confidence in these markets.

Yet capital scarcity and increasingly volitile public markets have prompted a review of investment strategies. And whilst some are trying to leverage on manufacturing capabilities to supply the global demand for clean energy, others are looking beyond the traditional supply chain for promising technologies with commercialisation prospects.

Engage with all invested parties in the clean energy sector:

Financiers - both international and domestic
Policy shapers - with strong representation of the NDRC
Project developers - for wind, bio-energy and energy efficiency
Cleantech manufacturers - From solar PV to 3rd generation biofuels

Will all assemble to present both knowledge and insights on best practices for operating in the market.

Jointly organized with the Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association, the 4th REFF China is set to continue the success in creating a unique forum for international investors to meet policy makers and local cleantech project developers.

REFF-China 2009 - AGENDA HIGHLIGHTS:

· Debt and project financing for renewables in China in a shifting economic climate
· Prospects for China’s global positioning in the Wind and Solar markets: Cleantech manufacturing and exports
· The rise of private equity: As the horizon to an IPO is extended, where are funds looking to invest?
· Sophistication of carbon products and its development as a financial instrument
